Activity: Pinhole Camera Workshop
Objective:
1)
To create space for students to
apply their knowledge in Science and Maths critically through the construction
of pinhole cameras from recyclable items.
2)
Expose the students to
communication and management skills through group work
3)
As a platform for the organizers
(SMKAI students who attended the workshop organized by Ecocentric Transitions
in June) to apply their leadership skills in mediating a workshop by
themselves.
Insight:
The workshop was a success and both the organizers and participants
(all students of SMKAI) enjoyed themselves while independently constructing
many creative pinhole cameras. Almost all of the cameras that were constructed
worked perfectly upon examination. Good job to everyone who attended.
