Malaysia ranked 39 with a mean score of 422 in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) first assessment on creative problem-solving, while neighbouring Singapore came out tops with a mean score of 562, said the report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The overall mean score for all countries was 500.
